Teen Led Class Teaches Foster Youth How to Build and Program Robots

Monday, Jan 7, 2019

A group of talented teens in our community are providing a series of robotics workshops for our foster children to learn the ins and outs of building and programming robots. The sessions are led by Innov8rz-FTC Team 11039, a world-class robotics team with years of experience in mechanical design, software and robotics.?

These amazing teens, pictured above, are working with foster youth in grades 3 through 7 to help them build and program EV3 robots for a FIRST LEGO League competition!

FIRST LEGO League is a powerful program that engages younger children in playful and meaningful learning while helping them to discover the fun in science and technology.
